Do you believe that anything is possible for yourself?

It’s true.

Sky’s the limit.

It is possible for you handle your feelings without turning to food.

I found out how.

First, I fixed my broken brain – the broken hunger signal and the broken reward signal.

When that was fixed, it became easier to wrangle my feelings.

It was still hard though.

It felt uncomfortable and empty at times.

I gave in to the discomfort a fair bit.

My brain started remembering the times I didn’t feed the discomfort with food.

Little by little, my brain learned to stop treating the discomfort as something that needed to go away.

Discomfort is not dangerous.  I misread it all those years.  Oops.

The more I allowed it, the less I needed food.

The less I needed food, the more self aware I became.  That was interesting.  And the more I learned that I can handle my feelings without food.

So can you.
