Freedom from food obsession

The most valuable gift I've been given from sorting out my relationship with food is the gift of freedom from food obsession and mental chatter.  How did I do this?  I worked hard to build automaticity in my brain around food.  I've spent so many days practicing the same thing over and over that now it's just what I do.  When I deviate, it feels un-automatic.

Now I get to spend my brain power on things like my business, my new puppy, and creative projects.

The new default now is that my mind doesn't engage in food chatter or debate or obsession.  This actually is the real gift of doing the work.  Losing the weight and watching my body change was a side benefit.
