“I feel like it” and other bullshit

Is there any reason to be spontaneous with what you eat?

No.

But "I feel like it."

How many times has that four-word sentence produced disastrous effects for you?

There's the "I feel like it" and stopping.

And then there's the "I feel like it" and not stopping.  That one, more often than not, wins for those of us who struggle with moderating our food intake.

If you are a food addict like me, your brain has terrible judgement in the moment.  In the moment, the primitive brain wants what it wants with no regard for the future.  It will win 99 percent of the time.  Trust me, I've done the research.

So back to my point about being spontaneous with what you eat -- it's a no go.

Plan it.

Follow through.

Rinse and repeat.

Until next time,
